The latest from our products and industry.

YIFAN / JOURNAL

Household appliances such as fans, refrigerators, washing machines, cooker hoods and vacuum cleaners often use single-phase AC motors. Their relatively simple construction means that some common faults can be repaired under suitable workshop conditions.

Common faults include failure to start after power is applied; slow or weak rotation; an electrically live casing; excessive temperature rise during operation; loud operating noise; and overheating.
