Intelligent servo motors open new markets for customers

The latest from our products and industry.

A good servo system configures its functions and parameters around the motor, improving performance, precision and operating stability. This helps meet users’ needs while reducing costs, saving energy and protecting the environment.

Innovation in China’s plastics machinery sector has faced limitations in core technologies and independent development, particularly in reducing energy consumption. High motor energy use and oil contamination are concerns. Mechanical structures, control methods and operating conditions therefore need to be optimized for low energy consumption. Variable-frequency motors offer better energy conversion efficiency than older electromagnetic speed-control and DC motors. As variable-frequency technology matures and drive costs fall, it has become widely used in plastics machinery, especially extrusion equipment.

A well-configured servo system improves motor performance, control precision and stability, meeting users’ needs while saving costs and energy. As the industry develops, servo systems are finding wider applications. Intelligent servo systems are also entering the market in response to industrial production requirements.

Customers can select an economical servo system or a more precise, intelligent system according to their actual needs. For high-volume applications with moderate precision requirements, economical systems can deliver the required performance while reducing costs and improving competitiveness. Intelligent systems can open new markets and higher-level control applications, improving customers’ products and their position in the market. (Source: China Motor Network)
